DEVELOPMENT OF 9-UNIT LUXURY APARTMENT & MIXED USE COMMERCIAL COMPLEX, TO CONTINUE FOLLOWING USE VARIANCE APPROVAL BY CLIFTON ZONING BOARD

The City of Clifton, Zoning Board of Adjustment, voted unanimously to grant use variance approval to Tsungas Petroleum, Inc., for the development of a 9-Unit, luxury apartment & mixed use commercial complex, located on Lexington Avenue in the City of Clifton. The project will consist of a mix of 1 and 2-bedroom rental apartment units, with ground floor commercial space, as well as an electric vehicle charging station, substantial on-site parking, and other tenant amenities, and represents a major step forward in the redevelopment of the site and the surrounding neighborhood.

The developer, Tsungas Petroleum, Inc., was represented by David C. Dixon, Esq., of the firm of Feeney & Dixon, LLC, Pompton Plains, NJ. The applicant’s engineer & architect were with Bertin Engineering, of Glen Rock, NJ, and its professional planner was John McDonough Associates, of Morris Plains, NJ.
