BUTLER LAND USE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTS APPROVAL FOR NON-CONFORMING USE CERTIFICATE
The Borough of Butler, Land Use Board, voted unanimously to grant issuance of a certificate of non-conformance to a local property owner, to allow the continued occupancy of residential property, as a multi-family dwelling. At hearing, David C. Dixon, Esq., attorney for the applicant, presented testimony from witnesses describing the use, dating back over 50 years, and was able to convince the Board that the subject property was in continuous use as a multi-family residential dwelling prior to the adoption of a prohibition against such use, in or about 1960.
